This is our new style Maple in whisky with chestnut strap and pull closer. Its slightly different from our original one in that it no longer has a dee ring on the front to negotiate, which was a little fiddly for some. so we simplified it. It works in exactly the same way as before, clipping onto the stud to hold the flap secure.
Also the strap is no longer holding the side panels in place. Instead we've secured the sides together with a much stronger solution. As with the earlier model there is no stitching so no threads to come loose.
We absolutely love the simplicity of the bag. It sits really well with our ethos. This bag is minimalist and honest, as well as being all about performance.
The Leather has a natural water resistance because it is full of natural wax and oils. It's soft and buttery to the touch which makes it very tactile. This particular veg tan leather is very secretive to the environment and use. It will not take long for it to take on a beautiful vintage look.
